Week 32: Beef & Beers

Food: Oddfellows dried fig and liquorice ice cream, beef tartare, and rock candy

Brooklyn Brewery hosted a launch party for their new seasonal flavor Tripel Burner. A beer whose main ingredient is licorice root is not a classic choice for a humid August night, but still probably an upgrade from what I normally drink. The menu was a bit of a hodgepodge that included ice cream, beef tartare, and rock candy but that didn't stop me from eating all of it.
